Wedding Story

That's right. The pic says it all.
There's alot of crap that went down that day. All Good and a shitload of funny. Remember that wedding rehearsal I mentioned? Well..there you go. There's so much stuff to talk about that...

...my busy self has to continue this on another day. Sorry folks. I'll tease you with this though. Expect a long one...from me. Odessi and I were in the entourage as bridesmaid and groomsman. Go me. Talk to you later...(END...July 11)

Ok...I'm back on this thing (July 12)....I have been to many weddings but this particular wedding has given me the priveledge to participate in the bridal party. I've known Augustus and Ruby since the day they got together. It has been a tremendous honor to be a part of their big day. Both the guys and girls looked sharp during the wedding. The crowd wasn't too large or too small but I felt that there was a good vibe through and through. Exactly 151...just like the drink. 93% comprised of their families. 7% comprised of their closest friends. There was also some shit that went down that was kinda funny...

Indian Limo Driver (ILD): "Ok...we're here..."
Gus: "WTF? Where are we?"
ILD: "We're here in Sonoma...."
Gus: "This is Sonoma Blvd."
ILD: "Yes. And we charge ok?"
Gus: "I'm talking about Sonoma the town/city"
ILD: "Yes."
Gus: "We're at a gas station. Are you telling me you want to drop the whole entourage here?"
ILD: "Umm...Yes."
Gus: "Imma knock that turbin off your head if you're not joking."

Entourage giggles.

All isn't lost. Sonoma (Marriot Lodge) was actually crackin. Open bar, Oyster orderves(sp?), Ribs, and a slew of other stuff was making its rounds with the people waiting for the party to get started. Then my crunked out friend Mikee got the mic before presenting the entourage....

Mikee: "A peach is a peach and a plum is a plum. But you know the reason to get married is just to get some."

Funny as hell but crazy. I knew about 80% of the crowd since they mostly comprised of Ruby's family - a family who I grew with for a long time. I also knew some of Gus' relatives who were very open and warm to new people. There were the usual shit that you see in weddings, like uncles and aunties phreakin each other and my brother phreakin the bride. Crazy, cool, but mostly memorable. Here's some other pics:

Odd's brother, Mike G, got faded and chilled with a random group of girls reminiscent of the cast from O.C. I've been to at least 7 weddings within the course of 2 years and it does make a difference when you're a part of a wedding. When you're just the spectator...you're pretty board as hell...at least...that's been my experience with some of the weddings. So yeah...Dani...your wedding was along the few that rocked. For this wedding, everyone knew each other so well that there was always a good vibe when the dancing came up. No drama. All fun.

When people are calling out the next tracks and the DJ nods, you know it'll be a good time. So yeah...by the end of the night, a couple of people were faded out of existence. Entertaining to say the least but it doesn't end there...

I was supposed to have a room setup for me at the hotel after the reception since I made a reservation. Unfortunately, I didn't check in early enough in this hotel. They get overbooked 95% of the time. Fawk. I also found out that the best man had to head home for work and he drove the car which contained my suitcase. Fawk. However, on a lighter note, the hotel mentioned that they can provide a free room for Odd and I at another hotel in a nearby location....

Gus and Rubes: "Dude...just stay in our room. Can we get something in return since we'll just have our buddies stay in our room"

Hotel Dude: "Sure. How about free breakfast or lunch?"

GR: "Alright. It's settled then."

Great friends they were...the newlyweds offered to share their room to Odd and I since the hotel overbooked. Very beautiful hotel...

So we ended up coming up to the room and saw this...

Gus' nutsack holder

Gus then goes...

OH MY GOD. I CAN'T LOOK at that.

Then we see this...

Ruby's Stringerie

Apparently, the family was playing jokes on them. They even stole Ruby's underwear. They also accidently stole Odd's underwear too from her briefcase...thinking that they took Ruby's. Crazy. Anyway, we had dry sex j/k. No seriously...we just chilled and talked with the newlyweds, talked about life in general and other personal shit. Good times. Afterwards in the following morning/noon, the newlyweds called up another couple to join us for Brunch and milked the shit out of the hotel.

We went all out on Pizzas, Mango Margaritas, Sandwhiches and fancy platters totalled $180+ for six people (thanks to Thomas and Kim for coming). Grubby. I even told Gus to order some shit to go even though it might be taking it far.

So we did anyway.

Before afternoon came up, I took Odd back to vallejo and met up with Ruby and Gus's fam to watch them open up gifts, play basketball, and LCR. A gambling game from NY. Great memories. You know how pictures say a thousand words right? Well...here you go. Feast your eyes on the latest pics...

Check out some pics
