The WRX2 project

Playing with a 4WD Sport Sedan is definitely alot of fun to do.  This project was inherited from a good friend. He ended up parting the car for reasons I cannot disclose. I know the history of this car since it was first bought because this friend also happened to be my former-roommate. He made mostly sensible modifications that kept the essence of the car. Both of us agree on most modifications and his goals are similar to my own. For the most part, this project is much more simpler than the ST2GT4 project. Because it is a 4WD four door sedan, the primary goal is mainly to keep the car maintenance-free, gas friendly, safe, looking non-aggressive, while bridging the gap between daily driving and performance driving. My secondary goal, which is derived from performance driving, is to push the WRX's performance and handling to its limits but keep it legal in all areas, which also includes being smog legal. The WRX is used mostly as a daily driver and will be continued to be used as a daily driver. While a nice goal HP of 275 would be nice, the usability of this number would be more important.  I may autocross with it from time to time but it won't be driven competitively. Besides, that's what my other projects are for. I called this the WRX2 project simply because I'm second owner of this car.
