This is more of just savoring the look of the suspension system before they get dirty after the install.

The Box

The Box with model type and number (SA-1)

If you notice the SA-1s are not as beefy in the piston diameter department as the FLT-A2s. But they still provide a very good amount dampening.

By looking at the bottom part of the coilover system, you know that you're going to have to deal with some brake lines. When compared to the FLT-A2s, the springs don't seem removable. One of the other things that seem bothersome about this system is that the bottom strut is not turnable to change the ride height without sacrificing suspension travel (an FLT-A2 feature). What this means is that whenever I change the ride height...I only have so much piston left over that I might end up hitting the bumpstops. Sucky but very satisfactory...at least for my car (which is FWD).

Here is a more better look of the rear coilover. Some others have actually used some plastic twisty wire cover to cover the top of the strut to avoid noise but since I'm using some very stiff springs (8kg/mm in front and 6kg/mm in back). I shouldn't have to worry about constant knocking of the springs coils.

The JIC comes with a neat little knob with a label showing the direction in which the dampening can be "soft" or hard".

For the SA-1s. The adjustment is only five way. Five way meaning that it only has five settings. Turning the adjusment knob you can feel the "clicks" to adjust the levels of dampening accordingly. This looks like it is going to be one of the most satisfying installs.
