Another easy modification. Not as short as the JDM Corner Light article but pretty short. Anyhow, my current headlights were crap. So what did I do? Get another set of crappy ones. Later on, I will upgrade to a Raybrig-based headlight.
Let's begin.
Here are the generic headlights. At least the bulbs are decent.
Figure 1

Popup the headlights and unscrew these screws as designated in the figures below.
Figure 2 (one screw)

Figure 3 (two screws)

From here, all we have to do is remove two screws on top and two screws on the bottom and take cover off
Figure 4

Pull out the headlight
Figure 5 (see the harness?)

Here is the back of the new headlight. Remove only the plastic.
Figure 6

Insert the bulb and clip it back on.
Figure 7

Reinstall the headlights and viola compare the lights between the stock (right) and the new one (left)
Figure 8

Here is the resulting shape, power, and coverage of the new light (left) vs. the old (right). Not so good huh. I guess this will have to do for now until I get the Raybrig bulbs.
